I have received email informing me to renew Domain Name for Search Engine Registration. Is this necessary?
Please note that Domain Registration is a fee that you need to pay annually to renew your Domain Name. This is something necessary for your website and emails associated with the domain to continue working.
However, if you receive email from anonymous asking you to pay a fee for Domain Name Search Engine Registration, this is 100% scam. There’s no need for your domain to be submitted or registered with Search Engine. The Search Engine will crawl and rank your website without such “Search Engine Registration”.Below is an example of such scam email, and we cannot prevent such email from being sent to you. All you need is to ignore them.
