How do I use Matrix Rate Extension for shipping?
This video shows how to define shipping costs using the Matrix rate extension in Magento 2.
The Matrix Rate shipping extension enables you to offer multiple shipping options to customers based on their location.
You can compare this to the Standard Magento Table Rates where only a single shipping option is allowed (e.g. Ground Shipping).
Matrix Rate gives you the ability to provide your customers with a variety of shipping options and rates, such as:
- Ground $10
- Next Day $25
- 2 Day $30
You can custom manage the rates via a CSV (spreadsheet) upload. You can use a further enhance table rate based functionality to bring you shipping filters based on one combination of: Cart Price or Cart Weight or Cart Quantity, AND Destination (including via country, state, city, zipcode range, postcode filtering)
